The Shrine Circus is in town!!

The Shrine circus is in Edmonton, Alberta on March 8/2008. I have little doubt that Voice For Animals will be there as well. They will be all dressed up in their cute little bunny costumes waving their signs in your faces. Why are they there?? Voice for animals job here is to sell you on their philosophy and lifestyle. To try and convince you that eating meat is bad and having animals for our entertainment is wrong. This sales pitch is most effectively done with outrages behavior.

Without even being there and seeing the animals, I can make a guess that they are well looked after. The Shrine Circus does not mistreat their animals. This is a quote from the Shrine Circus:
"We'll continue to entertain thousands of children from Edmonton, central and northern Alberta. The animals are well taken care of. We've never been charged by the Edmonton or Alberta SPCA." One Edmonton City Councillor accused the activists of engaging in "misleading propaganda."

"Tove Reece of Voice of Animals, one of the groups supporting the proposed ban, told The Edmonton Journal that the vote was a "huge loss for animals" and urged people not to go to the circus." It's not the circus that Tove Reece doesn't like, it's the performing animals. She believes that all animals are to be left alone, no interaction between people and animals, period.

Would I be so bold to inform Tove Reese who the shriners are?? You know, the fine people who help sick children !! Run the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Promoting a good future for Guzoo

Excerpts from a facebook group Promoting a good future for Guzoo

I e-mailed Kirsten McD to see why the cat shelter was closed. The shelter was in a used book store and that wasn't good enough for animal rights people. Yes, I am sure it wasn't a perfect place. Yes, I am sure more and better could be done. But was it?? Was it the right choice to shut it down?? Animal welfare people seem to be more the "hands on" type to me. Would not the right choice have been to ask them "what can I do to help out" "Or allow me make a donation." Why is it with animal rights people that so many of their decisions are to the extreme. It will never be a perfect world.

Here in this group we seem to have two different sides. The guzoo bashes who are comprised of mostly animal rights people, want guzoo closed (even though they claim not too), and the Guzoo supporters who are comprised mostly of animal welfare people. The guzoo supporters want it left open and are willing to put their time and money to see that it does.

The cat shelter in my little town is the art framing shop. I would never have the nerve to demand that they close, even if it's not perfect. Beside the point of not being any of my business, they are doing the best they know how. If my cat shelter closes, just like Kirsten's did, what are we going to do here with stray cats now??

Animal rights extremists live their whole lives in extremes. Many eat no meat,no fish, no dairy (that means no cheese for the pizza), no wool socks and no leather shoes. Animal rights extremists will go to great lengths to try and brainwash you into following their ways and beliefs, just like a cult does. Animal-rights activists believe that animals should be completely separate from people. Their goal is to make sure that the we have absolutely no access to animals, no matter how important they may be for our survival and progress. In contrast, the people who are doing the most to promote animal welfare today are the very ones that the animal rights movement wants to put out of business. (Guzoo)

Check out the link below. It is newspaper article about animal rights extremists that dug up a dead body to hold for ransom till a farmer stopped breeding guinea pigs. The body was never recovered.
